The main areas of cooperation between BEU and BISTU have been agreed upon.

An online meeting was held between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Beijing Information Science and Technology University (BISTU) of the People’s Republic of China.

During the meeting, BEU’s Vice-Rector for International Relations, Atraba Gul, provided detailed information about the university’s activities, international cooperation strategy, and productive partnerships with Chinese higher education institutions.

In turn, Professor Li Zhuo, Director of the International Relations Department and Dean of the International Education College at BISTU, presented information about his university.

As a continuation of the meeting held with this university during BEU’s delegation visit to China earlier this year, the parties extensively discussed future cooperation opportunities. Exchanges of views took place regarding the establishment of dual-degree programs at undergraduate and master’s levels, student and faculty exchanges, and implementation of joint research projects, with preliminary agreements reached.
